Program Overview
EFT Foundations introduces Emotional Field Theory as a systematic framework for understanding human emotion, disruption, regulation, and transformation. Rather than treating emotions as isolated internal experiences, EFT examines the human being as a recursive object embedded within relational and environmental fields. Changes in meaning, relationships, physiology, and environment, as well as disruptions, continually alter which states and trajectories are available to a person. Learners are introduced to the four central variables of the T Formula: Meaning-Making Capacity (M), Relational Support Intensity (R), Adaptive Plasticity (P), and Disruption (D). Together, these variables provide a structured way to understand why the same event can produce dramatically different outcomes across people, or within the same person at different moments. The program explores active disruption, accumulated backlog, emotional fields, regulation, meaning reconstruction, relational support, plasticity, attractors, and transformation potential. Learners also distinguish native regulation, which improves the underlying continuity geometry, from proxy regulation, which may alter immediate experience without resolving the conditions that produce disruption. EFT Foundations ultimately teaches learners to move beyond asking only, “What is this person feeling?” and begin asking, “What is happening to the system, what is maintaining this state, and what would make another trajectory possible?” By the end of the program, learners will have the conceptual foundation needed to recognize emotional-field dynamics and understand how disruption can become transformation. Understand the human emotional field.
